I have rental property loss so I don't seek QBID. Does that mean I can categorize my rental as NOT QBI since it doesn't apply to me for deduction?
Must I categorize my rental property as QBI if I have a loss?
Yes. Most residential rentals will not qualify for the new "Qualifying Business Deduction."
