Question

How do I indicate sale of a CD from my 1099-B? Under the sales info section under "What type of investment did you sell?" a CD is not an option.

CD is not available on the pull down menu

    You can choose 'Stock, Non-Employee' and type in the Description 'Sale of Bank CD'.

    Why can't TT add this CD in the drop down menu? I had to spend needless time looking this up.
