If you used TurboTax last year the capital loss carryover should have transferred into the 2017 return.

You can check that it is entered by using these steps:

On the Wages & Income page, in the Investment Income section, click the Start/Revisit box next to Capital Loss Carryover. [Screenshot #1]
On the screen, Let's get some info from your 2016 tax return, you should see the carryover from 2016. You can make changes if necessary. [Screenshot #2]
The next screen, Capital Loss Carryover Summary, will summarize the carryover from 2016, the amount used in 2017, and the loss carried forward to 2018. [Screenshot #3]
