Write off remaining refinance fees for a previous refinance for a rental property

How do I write off the remaining refinance fees for a previous refinance for a rental property in Turbotax?  I refinanced a rental property and marked the previous refinance as being closed/finished.  However, the remaining refinance fees for the previous refinance were just zeroed out instead of being deducted as an expense.  I tried putting in zero as the "sale amount", but that caused an error as it isn't an actual asset.
