wierd error message when trying to import 1099 from fidelity into TT

I am running desktop s/w for TT premier 2022 on MAC

i imported 1099 from Charles Schwab and Etrade with no problem 

when i select Fidelity I get a bizzare error message  "WE FOUND DUPLICATE INSTALLATIONS OF TURBO TAX 2022

it shows a path /private/var/folders/nz/xxxxxxxx/Turbotax 2022.app

i thought it might be my vpn... but i turned that off and still have the problem

Was that your first attempt to import from Fidelity?

SOLVED!

not sure why but i shut everything down and restarted and TT was then able to import my fidelity 1099. note I did NOT have to reinstall the TT software
