Why is there no depreciation of roof on rental on my 2018?

I replace the old roof on my rental in 2017. I received a depreciation for that property. But 2018 nothing appears. I followed directions but it asks for new roof cost 2018. I did not fill this out because  just want the yearly depreciation since the roof was done 2017. what am I dong wwrong.

You don’t depreciate the roof. The expense  is added to the cost basis of the rental.
