Why is the amount of my QBI from my rental property on the Qualified Business Income component worksheet (shows $73) not equal the income from Schedule E of $12,962?
You will need to look at the worksheets. You can see how the $73 amount on the component worksheet was calculated by looking at the Schedule E worksheet (Schedule E wks). On the Schedule E worksheet, scroll down to the bottom and look for the section titled Qualified Business Income Deduction Info. This section reconciles the amount of profit on your Schedule E to the amount you see on your QBI component worksheet.
