Why can't worksheet form 8949 accept no entry for Date Acquired? The Date Acquired box is surrounded by a red outline. Incomplete checkbox is required to advance.
You can enter 'Inherited' if that describes your situation.
The relevance to 'Date Acquired' is to determine whether a short or long term capital gain occurred for tax purposes.
