Where can I find the at risk loss button for rental property?
First, download a copy of your .tax2016 file *and* the PDF file generated for that tax file before you do anything. Otherwise, if you mess up the amending process and need to start over or something, you'll have a real PITA to deal with. Once you've done that, log out of your account.
I use the desktop version of TurboTax. So my guidance is just that..... *guidance*, when it comes to navigating the program.
Now log in to your account and click the AMEND button *before* you open your tax return. Now go to the Rental Royalty Income (SCH E) section (usually under the business tab) and just start working through your rental. (Elect to edit the listed rental property)
THen work through Property Profile, and the 2nd or 3rd screen through that section has what you're looking for.
