When I ask for help about entering closing costs for sale of a rental property, the answers are for screens I cannot find. do I have the wrong edition?

If you are using the TurboTax Online version, you will need to be in your return to get the instruction to enter the sale of your rental property. Please follow these steps.

1. Start at the main Tax Home page of your online account
2. Click on Take me to my return
3. Click on the top right Search, then type in sale of rental property
4. Then, select the Jump to sale of property, it will direct you to the page (depends on which version you are using, you may be asked to upgrade to the next version to support the sale of rental property)
5.  Go through select and answer the questions from each interview page. It will ask for your expenses relates to the sale of your rental property
