We just married but live in separate houses over 50% of time. We own both houses. How do we deduct the two houses if filing jointly?

You are allowed to deduct mortgage interest on two homes (they don't both have to be your primary residence). Enter the 2nd one as a 2nd home.

You may deduct real estate tax any any number of properties. TurboTax will ask if you have additional properties
