Some my Marcus and Fidelity accounts have tax forms available for download by Quicken. Going through the procedure, successfully authenticating, then getting a message saying the transfer was successful accomplishes nothing. Tax forms are not brought into TurboTax.
And I did not find any useful support. All "help" links I've tried lead to this community where searches return hundreds of outdated posts with no way to sort by date. I may have overlooked something. If not, TurboTax it is providing support by giving customers the opportunity to go through hundreds of outdated postings on a possibility that something useful might buried therein.

There's a STRANGE pop-up you have to accept.....anyhow....
Others have finally succeeded by using the following (but the BRAVE browser cannot be used).
From Doug34's post:
"I initially ran into the same problem described by others here. The Intuit website declares success, but TurboTax doesn't get the document. In my case this was caused by the fact that I denied the Intuit site permission to access my local network. Choose Allow, and you should be fine. If you already denied permission, you will be stuck until you reset this permission. In Chrome on Windows, you can do this by clicking on the View Site Information icon just to the left of the address bar. Turn on Local Network Access and try again. This solved the problem for me."
This worked great. Thank you very much. I have been trying for 3 days and i use to work for TT.
Steam train thank you, I had to dig in a little further. Once you get the 'success' message click on the locked icon and change to allow.
An explanation from TurboTax would be nice. Who needs access to all devices on my network, why and is the access read only? The download process involves a communication chain that includes TurboTax, a browser, Intuit, a financial institution, and likely other intermediaries. Which of these needs to access all the devices on my network? I assume TurboTax understands the chain of exchanges that allows the download, and TurboTax probably believes strongly that this relaxation of security does not expose its customers to a risk. But that's almost always the case when vulnerabilities are created. Customers asked to disable security measures are entitled to an explanation in my humble opinion.
