Let's try deleting Schedule E from your return.
To delete a form in your return, follow these steps:
- In your return, click on the Tax Tools link at the bottom of the left hand navigation bar.
- Click Tools in the menu that drops down.
- In the Tools Center box, click on the option to Delete a Form.
- In the list of forms that open, find Schedule E and click delete.
- Continue to finish your return and the questions about rental real estate should stop popping up.
