Let's try deleting Schedule E from your return.

To delete a form in your return, follow these steps:

  1. In your return, click on the Tax Tools link at the bottom of the left hand navigation bar.
  2. Click Tools in the menu that drops down.
  3. In the Tools Center box, click on the option to Delete a Form.
  4. In the list of forms that open, find Schedule E and click delete.
  5. Continue to finish your return and the questions about rental real estate should stop popping up.
