It depends what you have to work with. If you qualify for Schedule A deductions, give more to charity. If you quailfy for an HSA or and IRA, contribute as much as allowed. If self-employed, keep track of all your deductions. If need be, make larger estimated payments.

If you just have withholding, withhold more. Unfortunately, you are just paying in your own money.
