Sold home that was converted to rental. it was rented out for 2.5 years, completed the "rental" section noting property was sold. Do I need enter 1099-S form information?

Yes, there are more entries you need to make to report the 1099-S information.  Use the instructions in the following TurboTax FAQ complete the process of reporting the sale on your return. https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3388350
