No. That is, you do not need a 1099 to enter income on your tax return. You just enter it from your own records,
But, you have a bigger question: are you really a landlord, depending on what "sublet my room" means.
Rental income is "a type of" business income. But it's not reported on SCH C. It's reported on SCH E. A 1099 is not required to report rental, or any other type of business income for that matter.
