I live in Illinois and I sold land in Wisconsin on 03/06/2020 after owning it for 22 years. I'm trying to find where to enter the 1099-S form that only shows the gross proceeds. Please help

Enter it under the Investment section. Instead of reporting stock sales, your choice will be, "other".
For some reason my turbotax deluxe doesn't show OTHER in the Investment income section when I open the STOCKS, MUTUAL FUNDS, BONDS OTHER
Here is an article about how to enter this sale.
thanks but this isn't helping ether. I'm burned out out and will take my taxes to a professional. this is telling me that I have to pay 13-K to the gov when I paid over 14-K in taxes over the 20 plus years I owned it so in really my gain is only around 7500.00. Something is way wrong with the program and i've never seen the where to click on OTHER NOT HAPPPY
If you are using the Desktop version of TurboTax, it looks different. You would still enter it in the Investment Section, but the program is not set up the way the Online version is. The screen looks like you are entering stock, but you can indicate that it is land.
The first screen will ask if you sold investments in 2020. Answer yes
Do you have a 1099-B? Answer no.
Thanks for the help I was lost before you helped me. And I’ve already been approved by the IRS Until next year. Thanks again
