Is there a spot where I can enter Capital Gains info from stock sales listed on my form 1099B? i can not find it! Pls help.

I had a capital Gains distribution from a mutual fund. but, no spot for stock sale info listed in boxes 1d % 1e.

Mutual fund capital gains distributions are supposed to be provided on form 1099-DIV, not 1099-B.

1099-B Stock sales are entered under the Income area by following

 

"Federal Taxes"->"Wages & Income"->"Investment Income"->"Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds,Other"

 

Hope this helps you sail through your 1099-B forms.
