How do I get past stock sale stuck on needs review?

You uploaded 1099-B Proceeds from broker statement  How many entries are being reported?  Does Review want you to inspect each 1099-B entry or just some of them?  The general rule for a Review error that cannot be corrected is to delete the entry and re-enter. 

 

Are there so few entries that you can enter them by hand rather than upload?  Please clarify.

How do I get past stock sale stuck on needs review?

I manually entered the total sales from my 1099-B and have 6 lines total but I am also stuck at the needs review checklist. All entries have been flagged for needing review and everytime I review them, the page loops back to the beginning without any changes

How do I get past stock sale stuck on needs review?

To clarify what is going on in your tax return, please confirm that all of your entries are correct by looking at Schedule D/Form 8949 in pdf.

 

If you are ready to e-file your return, you can proceed with that and let us know if it goes through. This may be one of the errors that does not affect e-filing.

 

And you could send a token so that we can see what might be occurring.

 

 

For TurboTax Online, click the dropdown arrow next to Tax Tools on the left menu panel, then click Tools under that.  On the Tools Center pop-up, select Share my file with Agent.  When you confirm the request, you will get a box with a token number.   Reply with the token number and I’ll be able to open a TurboTax tax return with your numbers but not your personal information.  

 

For TurboTax Download/CD, on your menu bar at the very top, click “Online” and then “Send Tax File to Agent”.  When you click to send, you will get a pop-up with the token number.
