With no direct entry this year in Form 8949, where and how to enter transactions using Forms mode, e.g.,if Box A totals are $900 proceeds, $1000 cost basis, $20 wash sales, on what forms do I enter and how?

Entering stock sales

Instead of entering each of your individual investment sales transactions, you can enter summary totals for each category.   To enter your Category Totals directly in the Forms mode of TurboTax Desktop, you will have to enter on the Form 1099-B Worksheet.  See the screenshot below for an example of how this looks.

if you summarize as shown above your summary will end up on Schedule D Line 1b.

You will be making the Mail-in election.
