I am struggling to find out what the cost basis of ASPP stock I sold 100 shares of. The stock was WMT.
The shares were bought between March 9, 2005 and April 3, 2007.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Look here: WMT Historical Data
You can use approximate amount.
Thanks for the reply. 🙂 I tried the link and it went back 10 years only.
I was able to find historical on another site and between the time of March 9, 2005 and April 3, 2007, the price was $47 to $49. Can I just use $4800.00 as my cost basis by meeting in the middle or would it be better to use the low or higher amount?
Use your best knowledge. The cost basis wasn't reported to the IRS.
This is my 1st time doing a 1099B? would it be 100 X approx cost?
Yes, 100 shares x price per share will be your cost.
