I am entering the information for my 1031 exchange and when I come to the "Different Property Given Up" screen, I answer no, but it still takes me to another screen where it wants me to enter what I received in addition to the first property or cash. It won't let me go past this screen. The error message says it must add up to $53,342.
I sold a property for $511,900 and bought a new one for $575,000. I didn't have any other different property included in the transaction except for the $850 exchange company fee. The loan for the new one was higher than the loan for the old one.
