You can record your rental passive loss carryovers from prior years by following the steps here.

To go directly to the area to change the information in TurboTax desktop start here.

1.  In the search box upper right type rental

2. Jump to rental

3. Continue to Rental Summary

4. Edit next to the property

5. Update under Property Profile

6. Edit your property situations by selecting the carryover option

7. Review the images attached for assistance.

To go directly to the area for location change in TurboTax online version:

1. Sign into your account and select your current return.
2. Select  My Account on the top right and then select Tools
3. Select Topic Search (see attached image)
4. Search for rental and select Go 
5. Continue to the Rental Profile, then Update
6. Edit your property situations by selecting the carryover option
