Oil royalties schedule E

I have a royalty check each month from a family lease. It’s only about $100 per month. I do not get any rent, only a check for the oil… schedule E doesn’t like it when I put in 0 for the rent… what should I do?

If you're entering income for a royalty property, leave the rent box blank. Enter only Royalties.
