I have seen several threads discussing issues with importing CSV files for crypto transactions in TurboTax Premier ONLINE version. Currently there is NO option to import CSV files in the DESKTOP version.
Supposedly there should be an option under the FILE tab to upload crypto transactions in a CSV file for the Desktop version, but even after closing the program and checking for and applying all updates there is STILL NO OPTION TO IMPORT CSV FILES IN DESKTOP. When is this feature going to be added like it apparently is present in the ONLINE version?

Currently, TurboTax supports the manual entry of IRS Form 1099-DA. We are in the process of enhancing our CSV import and upload features to make this process more seamless.
Timeline: We expect the new CSV import functionality to be available soon. Please note that this is an estimated target as we finalize the experience.
If you are ready to file now, you can still enter your information manually. Otherwise, thank you for your patience while we get these automated tools ready for you!

Is this expected this filing season? This is very disappointing when advertising misrepresents real life capabilities.
Importing 1099-DA crypto transactions should be operational in both TurboTax Premier and TurboTax Home and Business for Windows desktop. In Home and Business, I was able to navigate to the import menu and locate cryptocurrency brokerages such as Kraken Securities using these navigational steps:
1. Step-by-Step
2. Personal
3. Personal Income
4. I'll choose what I want to work on
5. Investment Income
6. Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other
Wait, so you are saying this feature works on Windows but not on a Mac? Because I am not seeing this on my Mac Desktop Home and Business. I am going to cry this has been so bad this year. Please help, TurboTax!
This does NOT work. Most users have crypto transaction spanning many centralized and decentralized exchanges. We need a way to import those transactions from third party crypto tax software like Koinly or SUMM via TXF or CSV files that support the new 1099-DA format.
