I rented a spare bedroom for one month, did I convert to or from a rental property at any point?

I'm not sure if I should check either box for conversions since between short term rentals, the room was lived in

No. If you rented out part of your home, you did not convert your home from personal to rental use.

Instead, choose "I rented out part of my home."

Also note that if you rented the space for 14 days or less during the year, you are not required to report the rental income.
