NIT income not included in gross income how do you change gross income line 13 on Form 8960

Form 8960 has my gross income ,however , instructions say SS benefits and 401k benefits should NOT be included-- why did TT use my gross income without removing SS and 401 K benefits? I can not change the numbers on the form.

TurboTax is correct in this instance.

Per the 8960 instructions, Line 13 equals your AGI on Form 1040 and is only modified (for this line) for Section 911, CFC, and PFIC income.
