My nephew lives with me. I pay rent and utilities; he pays for his food, phone & personal expenses but files his own taxes. Can I say yes that I support someone else?

In order to support someone, you have to furnish over half of that person's support.

Your nephew must be under age 19 at the end of 2019 unless he's going to college.
Otherwise, he must have earned less than $4,200 in 2019.
