My LLC paid rent to a landlord to his personal bank acct. The landlord owns a corp, and the property I rent is owned by that corp. Should I issue a 1099 to the landlord?

No. The landlord is a corporation so there is no need to issue a 1099 in this instance.

Thanks for the response!

1099 is not required even though the rent was paid to the landlord's personal account, and not his corporation's business account, correct?

Correct because a 1099-MISC is for trade or business reporting only.
