My company was acquired in 2016 and some shares I owned in an Employee Stock Purchase Plan were converted to shares of the acquiring company. How do I report these?

I received a 3922, but I never sold the stock.  It was transferred.

Form 3922, Transfer of Stock Acquired Through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan, is for informational purposes only, for your employer to report to you information on your purchase(s) of ESPP shares - there is no requirement to enter the information from this form into TurboTax, or include it on your return.
