K1's

I am inputting K1 information in the area for k1's and then turbotax enters that information into the area where the DIV1099 line information is.  I don't receive a dividend from it , so this doesnt sound right to me as im not reciving a dividend check from the brokerage house.. is there  problem with turbo tax???

K1's

No problem with TurboTax. The income received through the K1 retains the same character as it was in the reporting entity.  So if the trust, estate. partnership, Sub-S Corp, or whatever entity issued the K1, the investment income generated in the entity will flow out to the recipients with the same tax reporting characteristics as if received by the K1 holder.
