Form 4562 is only ready for Schedule C and F. The Schedule E area is currently being updated.
The software should be updated after 02/13/26, but our tech team is working hard to have those updates before that date.
First it said by February, then by February 11th and now by February 13th. Why is it continually being pushed out?
exactly ! I've also been continually given incorrect info on this and constantly moving deadline. So annoying.
Have you considered hiring more than one developer? Or maybe just using AI? It's a complete joke that basic things like 1099-INT, DIV, MISC took so long to release, but still not having depreciation expense on a rental property is a joke. I won't be using you next year!!!
Are we still on track for today or is this being pushed out again?
Update, 4th promised delivery date has been missed. Can't wait to tell the IRS "sorry Turbo Tax isnt ready" sure that will be well respected.
Be sure to use this link Sign up for email notification which will let you know when the depreciation/amortization will be ready to file with Schedule E. It will be the most efficient way to know when it's ready.
That section (Schedule E) in TurboTax is still in process and updates are expected to be available next week with the end of the week updates.

Each year, the IRS updates the form used for federal tax. There are also updates to both federal and state tax returns due to new laws passed by both federal and state governments.
As these changes are finalized, the IRS and state tax authorities send us instructions that we review to determine what areas of TurboTax need to be updated. We work on these updates as soon as we get the instructions, but sometimes the changes are a big deal, and it takes some time to ensure everything is updated correctly.
We need to make some areas of TurboTax unavailable while we work on these updates. We do this to ensure the tax return you file is 100% accurate. One we've completed all of the required updates for a section, we'll let you know through email so you can jump back in and finish up your return.
So now you're saying earliest date is Feb 19th. And I bet nobody is working on the fix this weekend.
It is now February 17th -- Why is the depreciation schedule not available? Can we get a refund for our non-working TurboTax software? Should we use a competitor's product. I am not happy and I think that I am not the only unhappy customer!
TurboTax is spending MILLIONS advertising on TV and the product doesn't work. Shame on you!
this is so pathetic, I'm going to bet its not ready until March 15th at this point.

Thanks for the update. If this isn't ready on Feb 20th as promised, then this would be the 4th missed deadline on this critical section of your tool, and i hope at that stage you will begin giving refunds to those of us who have waited. It's really not acceptable for this to be so late, and for turbotax to just string us along with one failed deadline after another.
