I have 3 section 8 houses houses. The 1099-misc i receive from HHA doesn't list the payment for each house but instead all 3 houses are reported as one total in Box 1

It is acceptable to divide the rents among your three properties, as long as the total adds up to what is shown on the 1099-MISC you received.

TurboTax will want to assign the entire 1099-MISC to one property, so you will have to create multiple 1099-MISC to report the amount.  For example, if you received a single 1099-MISC for $36,000 you could divide it into three 1099-MISC for $12,000 - or whatever the appropriate amount is.

The IRS is most interested that the income is fully reported.
