Taxpayers use Form 6252 to report income from an installment sale on the installment method. Generally, an installment sale is a disposition of property where at least one payment is received after the end of the tax year in which the disposition occurs. Instructions for Form 6252
To review/Edit your form 6252:
- Login to your account.
- Click on Federal
- Click on Wages and Income then Income & Expenses
- Scroll down to Less Common Income then "Installment Sales" & click on Edit
- Click on Edit next to your Installment Sale you want to Review/Edit
