on my 1099 there is a sale I didn't symbol whtz  and received an amt from the original issue discount on pg 3.  There was no sale but on turbo tax they want a sold date  do I just delete that transaction?

You first said your 1099 has a sale and later said there was no sale. Is that the problem? If so, you would need to contact the issuer.

You said you received an amount from the OID, income received does need to be reported.
