If we've entered mortage information under rental property, should we also enter it on the primary mortage deduction page or is that only for our primary residence?

No, since you have already entered your mortgage information in the rental section of your return, do not enter it a second time.

The primary mortgage deduction page is for your personal residence, not rental properties.
