If there is a stock sale at a loss, how do I report that?

You will receive a 1099-B from your broker with all the information that you must enter into TurboTax to enter the loss.

To enter it:

Click on Federal Taxes

Click on Income

Click on I'll choose what I work on

Under Investment Income, click on Start beside Stocks, etc.

OR

Type stock sales in the search box and click on jump to stock sales.
