If I was laid off of work for 6 weeks unpaid due to covid outbreak in my building causing building to be shutdown, can I claim that as a tax break? And how?

What tax break for self employed? I don't think there is one on your tax return. Either way you will just have less income to pay tax on. If you took a early distribution from your IRA or 401K and qualify you can avoid the 10% Early Withdrawal Penalty.
