I sold a rental property in 2025. TurboTax keeps telling me that Depreciation and Amortization will be ready by February, and I'm still waiting? When will it be ready?

Form 4562 is only ready for Schedule C and F. The Schedule E area is currently being updated. 

The software should be updated after 02/13/26, but our tech team is working hard to have those updates before that date.

yeah i'm in the same boat. First i was told that it's ready and that i should clear my cookies and cache. After wasting a morning doing that, i called and an agent made me wait 30mins before declaring that it will be fixed by Feb 11th if not sooner.  And of course, today is Feb 11 and it's still not working. From the comment here, it looks like it's now Friday 13th before it's ready. Don't hold your breath, this seems to be a moving target. Not cool.

Yes, I'm checking it first thing on Feb 13th, and I'm still getting the message that it will be ready by February.

The work on this section of TurboTax is continuing and expected to be completed with an update coming after Thursday night.  The best time to check for a change will be Friday.

When you give a day and not a date that can mean any day that month or next. In this case it appears you are saying the depreciation form will be available Friday February 20. This update has been and continues to be a moving target. We will have to wait and see what updates and when.

Based on the information I was told, the update to be released on Thursday, February 19 is expected to resolve issues within the rental income and expenses section with regard to depreciation.  Waiting to test your return on Friday, February 20 is advised since there is not a specific time for the release of the update.

This is ridiculous! Today in 2/18/26 and still the Depreciation and Amortization section of Turbo Tax is not ready. I am beginning to wonder if I should switch to a competitor! I have been using Turbo Tax for well over 22 years but am seriously considering trying a competitor who may have this section ready to use in a more timely manner!

Hey Friends...I just took another peek to see if TurboTax has the Depreciation and Amortization ready to go, and it looks like it is finally ready.  No more notice that it's on the way.  I checked it at 1:30pm CST.  Finally!!
