I rent out a couple of homes I have. i rent them every year. How do I list them?

Income and expenses from renting properties that you own will be reported on Schedule E.  There is a lot of information about the properties themselves, what you paid for the properties, how much time they were rented, when you started renting them, and expenses related to the properties that you will need to enter into TurboTax to properly report your income.

The following TurboTax article will give you instructions about how to get started.  There is also another article showing some good information about rental expenses that could be helpful.  As you go through TurboTax to report your information, feel free to come back to ask additional questions.

Where do I enter income and expenses from a rental property?

What kinds of rental property expenses can I deduct?
