I rent an apartment in MI. I use some of that space for this business only. Does that count as a business expense?

It is an aquarium business where I sell corals. I grow corals in this space and propagate the corals there. It is not a retail space.

You can deduct the costs associated with the space used for the business if it is used regularly and exclusively for the business. It would be entered as a home office deduction in TurboTax.
