I receive interest from an investment. The account that generates this interest is a Trust in my name. I am the beneficiary. Can this interest go on my personal return?

I am unsure if because the income is really sent to a trust and im just the beneficiary that it can go on my personal return.

"Can this interest go on my personal return?"

Yes, indeed the interest can be reported on your personal income tax return provided the trust is a grantor trust (i.e., you essentially "own" the trust) and you choose Optional Method 1 as the filing method (i.e., the tax reporting forms have your tax ID number).
