I need to amend my tax forms because I posted a rental property and it’s not a rental property. I own the house and my daughter is living in it. How do I fix this?

File 1040-X and adjust entries to exclude any rental property income and expenses included on the original return. The 1040-X will calculate any additional tax due. Note the mailing address for filing 1040-X is different from where you sent your original return
