I moved to a second apartment. I still have my current apartment and pay rent at both places. Can I claim moving expenses? If so, how?

Both palces are in the same state.

No, the deduction for moving expenses is no longer available for tax years 2018 – 2025 due to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) that Congress signed into law on December 22, 2017.  However, If you are an active-duty member of the military who was ordered to move as the result of a permanent change of station (PCS), you can deduct the out-of-pocket moving expenses
