I inherited royalties on gas wells and received a 1099 Misc for $175. All my other issues are very basic. Can I still use the free edition? Will it have the forms?

Oil & Gas Royalties are entered on a schedule E. Schedule E is supported by TurboTax Premier online version.

Any of the desktop products will support a schedule E. You might also see if you qualify for TurboTax Freedom edition (different from the Free edition).
