I have some questions about theft loss, "date acquired".

My question is that my apartment was robbed and some items that i have bough in the past 5-6 years, were stollen. I don't remember the exact dates I had acquired these items since some are jewelry, some are watched and I cannot remember them all. What should i do?

So long as you owned them over 1 year just enter an average date.  The result will be the same as if you had exact dates.
