I have short term rental income from AIRBNB. I do not think I need to put it in Schedule C. I just need to record it in schedule E, is that so?

The short term rental started in Jul.  The house was bought on 5/6/16.  127 days used for short term rental and 114 days for self used.  Please advise to report it in schedule c or schedule E?  Thanks.

If you are just letting rooms or the whole house then it is a Schedule E when no significance  amenities are provided.

Generally  if you rent a room in your home that is always available for short-term occupancy by paying customers. You do not use the room yourself and you allow only paying customers to use the room. This room is used solely as a hotel, motel, inn, or similar establishment and is not a dwelling unit. Schedule C.
