I have capital loss carryover from 2017 and a 2018 net gain amount. but capital loss used in 2018 is showing as 0, why is the carryover amount not applied to 2018?

If your carryover loss did not transfer, search for capital loss carryover in the search bar at the top of your screen and then select the Jump to link in the search results.
