I have a carryover option from my loss in stocks last year added to my taxes for 2019. should I remove that from my 2019 taxes or keep it? I did not own anything in 2019.

You should keep the capital loss carryover. You can deduct up to $3000 in 2019 and the rest will carryover to next year.
