Form 1099-B (Proceeds from Broker and Barter Exchange Transactions) reports the sale of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other securities.
To enter your 1099-B on your return in TurboTax, please complete these steps below:
- Sign in to TurboTax (if you're not already signed in).
- Click on the Take me to my Return button
- Click on the Federal Taxes tab
- Click on the Wages and Income tab
- Scroll down to the Investment Income section (Show More) and select Start/Revisit
